Joe Zarrow (he/him) is an Evanston-based playwright and actor, trained at the School at Steppenwolf. Stage Left and Theater Seven of Chicago co-produced the premiere of his play Principal Principle (Jeff Nomination, Best New Work). In Chicago his plays have also been produced or developed by Jackalope, the Gift, Walkabout, the New Coordinates, and Collaboraction. Favorite roles have included Watson in The (curious case of the) Watson Intelligence (Open Book Theater - Wilde Award, Best Lead Actor), Scoolch in Bulrusher (Congo Square), Alan in This (Windy City Playhouse), and some jerk on an episode of Chicago PD.
