Animals

by Chad Eschman

What inspired you to write this play?

Ordering dinner with a friend? Easy. Ordering dinner with a partner? A life-and-death showdown. It’s hard to build a relationship full of compromises and still maintain our sense of individuality. I think the bedroom is a place where we often have talks we don’t want anyone else to hear. (Also: going vegan IS hard, I have failed multiple times.)
