One Trick

by Jessy Lauren Smith

What inspired you to write this play?

In writing for a bedroom, I thought about the long-overdue conversations that can happen in a space that only belongs to the people who sleep there. And how sometimes taking a drastic action can feel less scary than asking someone what they really want.
