What inspired you to write this play?
I wanted to write a play about the past and present narratives we tell to ourselves and to the people we love. Because we wrote these plays for a church basement, I was also inspired by the ritual/structure of going to confession.
Production History
“David Makes His Rounds” was written and produced for XV: an immersive theatrical experience presented as a 15-year high school reunion. It took place in a church basement in Ravenswood, Chicago.
